Making a claim
How will I pay for my claim
You may be eligible for a no-win, no-fee claim. This can be backed by insurance to ensure there is no risk to you
If you are a member of a trade union, then you may be eligible for funding through them
You may have legal expenses insurance through your house insurance.
Whatever the method, we will assist you in finding the best way to fund your claim at no cost to you.
What do I need to prove?
To succeed in a claim you will need to establish that someone is at fault. This may be your employer if the accident occurred at work, or another motorist in a road traffic accident. Whatever the circumstances, we will work hard to explore with you how we can establish negligence on the part of the person or organisation responsible for your injuries
How long will my claim take
The legal process can be complex and if your injuries are serious then it may take time for the full impact on your life to be assessed. We work very hard to obtain compensation as quickly as possible as we know that you need to be able to get your life back as quickly as possible. If liability is admitted, the case can be resolved within a few months. If liability is disputed or the injuries are serious then it may be necessary for us to commence court proceedings and the case will take longer. We will keep you informed about the likely timetable at the outset and keep you updated regularly throughout the life of the claim.
