Co-Head of Employment
Binder is a partner in and co-head of Pattinson & Brewer's Employment Department.
He is a member of a number of professional bodies including the Industrial Law Society, Discrimination Law Association and the Employment Lawyers Association. Binder is a past treasurer of the Employment Lawyers Association. He is ranked as among the leading employment solicitors for claimants, in a number of the leading legal directories such as the Chambers and Partners UK.
He has had conduct of a number of high profile discrimination and industrial action claims as well a number of large class actions, dealing with all aspects of individual employment, employment and pension related regulatory issues and collective labour law rights. Binder has considerable experience of claims in the Employment Tribunals, Employment Appeal Tribunal, the High Court and the Court of Appeal.
He conducts regular employment law seminars for clients and other employment solicitors on a wide range of topics. Binder has practised in employment and labour law since qualification as a solicitor from Cardiff University.
When not involved in the dark arts of employment law, Binder's passions are his family, cooking, reading and supporting the academy of footballing excellence that is West Ham United, Essex County Cricket Club as well as a wayward game of golf!
