Elizabeth Stephenson
Elizabeth Stephenson is a Solicitor at Pattinson and Brewer. She has experience of acting for trade union members, private clients and trade unions themselves in a wide range of claims including discrimination, constructive/ unfair/ wrongful dismissal, breach of contract and TUPE. She has also advised unions on issues relating to trade unions’ rights and obligations. She has been involved in a number of multiple claimant cases. She has also advised on and negotiated Compromise Agreements in a wide range of industry sectors.
She obtained an English and Theatre Studies degree at the University of Leeds before working for a legal aid firm and subsequently completing the post-graduate diploma in law and Legal Practice Course. She went on to train at a firm with a trade union emphasis and is committed to protecting the rights of individuals.
In her spare time Liz enjoys films, looking for the hole in her badminton racket, and reading. She is also an enthusiastic Manchester United FC supporter, partly to maintain domestic harmony.
