John Kyriacou is a partner in Pattinson & Brewer's London-based clinical negligence department. He handles claimant clinical negligence cases exclusively and is very experienced in an exceptionally wide range of clinical negligence and catastrophic personal injury claims.

John specialises in complex clinical negligence cases including; obstetric, orthopaedic & general practitioner negligence; negligent plastic surgery & amputation; and paediatric cases. He regularly handles cases where damages in excess of £1 million have been awarded
He acted in P -v- Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust where the claimant was successful. The case involved the Defendant's failure to diagnose cloacal exstrophy a rare congenital abnormality (occurring once in every 400,000 live births). Failure to diagnose cloacal exstrophy was the subject of an action that went to trial 10 years ago and in that case the Claimant lost.
John is a referral panel solicitor for Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA) and the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA). He is a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel & Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
John is married with three children and lives in North London.
