Anthea Christie

Anthea Christie is an Associate in our leading edge Employment Department. She has experience in all areas of employment law, with particular expertise in discrimination claims.

She has acted for clients from a wide range of industry sectors, including banking, legal, publishing, civil service and the public sector. She has vast experience in dealing with contentious matters, as well as advising on and negotiating terms of contracts and Compromise Agreements.

Anthea also has experience in advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters. This includes advising on grievance, redundancy and dismissal procedures, and contracts of employment and internal policies and procedures.

Anthea graduated with a law degree from Birmingham University and passed the Legal Practice Course with distinction. She has been an integral member of the employment team since she qualified as a solicitor in 2004. She is a member of the Industrial Law Society and is on the Training Committee of the Employment Lawyers Association.

When not at the office she enjoys swimming and travelling and she has spent time in India, Australia and South East Asia.
