Richard Scott

With 16 years’ experience in personal injury claims, Richard has dealt with a huge variety of claimants’ cases. He has extensive experience of all types of industrial disease claims, especially vibration white finger and industrial deafness claims. He has also represented claimants in industrial accident claims based on the complex work place regulations.

In addition to his personal injury law experience, Richard worked in a legal advice centre for 9 years undertaking all aspects of legal work including clinical negligence matters, criminal cases and family work. He was the supervising solicitor and responsible to the Law Society for the proper running of the centre.

Richard has worked closely with claimants all walks of life and has successfully settled cases in excess of £100,000. He is particularly interested in access to justice, ensuring that claimants get the correct amount of compensation and, where appropriate, that clients receive sufficient interim payments.

Richard is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). Away from the office he enjoys reading, photography and cycling.
