I have recently joined the Clinical Negligence department at Pattinson and Brewer Solicitors having qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in July 2016. I have over 6 years’ experience in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Claims.
I spent approximately 18 months with the NHS Litigation Authority managing both pre and post litigated claims made against the organisation’s Member Trusts.
Prior to the NHS Litigation Authority I had the opportunity to work as a Trainee Legal Executive at Shoosmiths Access Legal in the Clinical Negligence Department in Basingstoke.
Professional memberships include Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
Having now specialised in Clinical Negligence, I assist people who have suffered life changing injuries at the hands of the healthcare profession, to claim compensation to help them and their families get back on their feet.
I am motivated by being able to obtain great results for my clients. However, the litigation process is very involved and to navigate it requires efficiency, pragmatism and, on occasions, a certain amount of lateral thinking.
I help clients that find their case very emotive, to take a step back so they can understand what the medical negligence process entails and what evidence needs to be gathered in order to bring a successful claim. I do this by providing practical and honest advice from the outset.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking, reading and spending time with my friends and family. I attend the gym between 5 and 6 times a week and have completed the Paris marathon together with several half marathons in the UK.
