Gordon qualified as a solicitor in 2000, having completed his training contract at a Magic Circle firm, where he worked after qualification as an Intellectual Property Litigation solicitor for 5 years.
Gordon joined our firm in 2016 and has over 7 years’ experience advising on employment law. He has previously worked in employment law at Tower Hamlets Law Centre and at Thompsons Solicitors.
Gordon has experience advising and representing claimants on a wide range of employment law matters, including discrimination, unfair dismissal, redundancy, whistleblowing, wages claims and holiday pay. He also deals with complex TUPE matters and group claims, obtaining some fantastic results. He is often praised for his thorough and committed approach.
Gordon studied at Trinity College Dublin and graduated with a Bachelor in Laws (LL.B) in 1996. He completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Store Street in London. Gordon also has an LLM Master of Laws (Human Rights) from the London School of Economics, graduating in 2006.
He regularly delivers training to union representatives and enjoys working closely with our trade union clients. He is a member through the firm of the Employment Lawyers Association, Discrimination Law Association and Industrial Law Society.
When not at the office, Gordon enjoys running and regularly going to the theatre. His other interests include travelling and going on country walks, usually with a stop for a pub lunch.
